Those Germans think of everything. Here is your basic radioactive isotope storage system for your kitchen. We all have isotopes around the house and you can never be to careful! Another idea you might want to consider if you have already gotten rid of your radioactive stuff? How about spice storage?containers.jpg

Bob The Horse Guy

As you can imagine I meet lots of interesting people at kitchen showrooms around the world. The guy with the funny hat is Bob. He was guarding a Leicht showroom in London. You can see that it was drawing a big crowd.  See all the people in the background (that is the showroom). horseguy.jpgThey are checking out the new Liebherr refrigerators on display. Bob and his horse Roy showed me around the new Leicht displays. Roy seems to know more than most appliance dealers about Liebherr refrigerators. Roy did make a mess of the showroom but Bob and I cleaned it up.

Its Whats In The Drawer

I think every kitchen designer, no matter how many years they have been in the business, can always admire the work of a competitor when they come up with something worthy. This drawer system by Poggenpohl is one of those. It isnt a new system but I am always drawn to it. I really like the wood fronts and the brushed drawers…insert-1.jpg

Last Year

I believe I posted this last year. It is well worth the re-post as the stainless steel complements the dark wood very well and the stuff that is in the drawers has a big time wow factor. The wall faucet is nice but tough to install. Don’t forget if you comment everyone here will clap like a seal for your bravery!

The Handle

This dear readers is a handle. Not only is it a handle, but, it is the controller for the water faucet pictured a few posts back. I don’t have any idea why this fascinated me so much. It was really cool and went incredibly well with the display and the glass counter tops that is was used with. But should it garner so much attention? I don’t know. Maybe today is one of those days where losing your mind is ok.

As with ALL my posts. Hit the comment button you must have some questions about something don’t you??? Do you really know everything I know about kitchens. Hell… no more begging. ASK!
